[Bug 12153] Re: Cannot use Windows key in keyboard shortcuts
I can reproduce this on MacBook Pro running Gutsy upgraded from Feisty. If I try to set a keyboard shortcut to Apple+R (or any letter) it just sets it to Super L or Super R (the left and right side apple keys respectively). This may or may not be related to the fact that almost any keyboard setting I change results in the Error activating XKB configuration error. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ xprop -root | grep XKB _XKB_RULES_NAMES_BACKUP(STRING) = xorg, macintosh, us, intl, _XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING) = xorg, pc104, us, mac, [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd layouts = [] model = options = [altwin altwin:super_win] overrideSettings = true -- Cannot use Windows key in keyboard shortcuts https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/12153 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 58554] Re: Not installable
I get a similar thing: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo apt-get install realplayer Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies. realplayer: Depends: xlibs but it is not installable E: Broken packages -- Not installable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/58554 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 50031] Re: [regression] Suspend [to-RAM and to-disk] is broken in 2.6.15-25.43
Default Dapper 6.06.1 install would suspend but would not display anything upon resume (Scroll Lock could be twiddled, though). I made these two edits to /etc/default/acpi-support: 1. Uncomment ACPI_SLEEP=true 2. Change to SAVE_VBE_STATE=false Now seems to work fine. -- [regression] Suspend [to-RAM and to-disk] is broken in 2.6.15-25.43 https://launchpad.net/bugs/50031 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
