[Bug 869502] Re: Kernel-Panic with 3.0.0.12-generic on asus eee pcs and msi wind (both using rt2800 wifi chipset)
I've tested on three kernels and got panics on all of them: 3.0.0-11-generic 3.0.0-12-generic 3.1.0-030100rc10-generic I only get panics when When not plugged in to power adapter, and only since upgrading to Ubuntu 11.10 I'm on an Eee PC 1001HA I know I'm using rt2800pci for the wireless driver because I had to remove that from /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf when I upgraded in order to get wireless working. Is there a workaround until this gets fixed? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/869502 Title: Kernel-Panic with 3.0.0.12-generic on asus eee pcs and msi wind (both using rt2800 wifi chipset) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/869502/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 875571] Re: Panic occurred, switch back to text console and freezes - On 11.10
I upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10 when the update manager told me it was available. This has happened about 5 times since then. There's no particular application that's running when it happens as far as I can tell. I took a photo of the screen when it crashed last time. ** Attachment added: Screenshot of panic https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/875571/+attachment/2555706/+files/panic.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/875571 Title: Panic occurred, switch back to text console and freezes - On 11.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/875571/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 336483] [NEW] ubuntu brainstorm layout doesn't work on low resolution screen

[Bug 222771] [NEW] serendipity expects directory /usr/share/php/smarty/libs
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: serendipity without the directory /usr/share/php/smarty/libs/ Serendipity doesn't work. It looks for the file Smarty.class.php there. In Hardy this file is found in /usr/share/php/smarty/ so I put in a symbolic link called libs that links its parent directory and that fixed it. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus Ubuntu 7.10 fresh install the problem seems to be in Nautilus (2.20.0) and not other file managers.
