[Bug 1615734] Re: Multiple monitors broken
Hm, I am on 18.04 on Thinkpad 530 and Mini Dock Plus Series 3 with three monitors and I have a very mild version of this problem. Only after suspend, the two monitors that are connected via the dock flicker (either show screen corruption or repeatedly blank in and blank out). The one connected to laptop's miniDP port works fine. However, I only need to issue xset dpms force standby to make them turn off and then move a mouse to make them turn on again. Another alternative is pressing alt+ctrl+F6 to go to tty6 and then alt+ctrl+F7 to go back to graphical interface. [Bug 903997] Re: Held jobs should release automatically if selected printer is connected after attempting to print from an application
Hello, well, it is fixed and it is not fixed. When I plug in the printer (or turn it on when it is connected via wifi), it gets printed after five minutes (I think). [Bug 455241] Re: New windows steal focus
Yes, Unity on 15.04. I do not have priviledges to revert a wont fix, somebody else have to do that. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a lightweight application like gedit. 2. Open an application that starts for a long time (GnuCash on my computer with 7 years of accouting) - may be different on your macihne 3. Before the application from step 2 initializes, switch to application from step 1 and start using it (i.e. typing in gedit) What happens: When the application from step 2 opens, it steals focus, goes to the forground and starts receiving input that up to that point was receiving application from step 3 What should happen: The application from step 2 should open in the background and set its status to alert (that blue triangle in the launcher in Unity). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/455241 Title: New windows steal focus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/455241/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1416005] Re: totem fails to play video if gstreamer-vaapi is installed
I am working a lot with videos using a gstreamer based subtitle editor called subtitleeditor (compiled from upstream, ubuntu's version is horribly outdated) and it can play the videos, but with terrible performace (lots of stuttering, sometimes it skips 30 frames or even more before continuing to play). [Bug 1163041] Re: Inconsistent behaviour with minimized Trash windows
Care should be taken what happens when user goes somewhere else from trash in the window opened from the trash launcher. And also what happens when one goes to trash from a normal nautilus window. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1163041 Title: Inconsistent behaviour with minimized Trash windows To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/1163041/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1362368] Re: Enable compilation of Unity messaging menu integration
Well, I tried to include changelog but apparently I run dch -i at the wrong moment. Anyway, it should be fixed now. As for notify.so, it is provided by pidgin_2.10.9-0ubuntu6_amd64.deb: $ apt-file search /usr/lib/pidgin/notify.so pidgin: /usr/lib/pidgin/notify.so pidgin-dbg: /usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/pidgin/notify.so Also, it was there originally, I did not touch that line. True, it was meant to be turned on by default but it was not (that is what the line pref name='loaded' type='pathlist' does). It provides notifications about new messages, I think, quite a sensible thing to have turned on by default. ** Patch added: Include changelog https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pidgin/+bug/1362368/+attachment/4193272/+files/pidgin_2.10.9-0ubuntu6.debdiff ** Changed in: pidgin (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1362368 Title: Enable compilation of Unity messaging menu integration To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pidgin/+bug/1362368/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1362368] Re: Enable compilation of Unity messaging menu integration
Ah, build-depends need to be added to control file, not to .dcs file. Now it should actually build-depend on unity and messaging menu. ** Patch added: debdiff really fixing it https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pidgin/+bug/1362368/+attachment/4191088/+files/pidgin_2.10.9-0ubuntu6.debdiff -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1362368 Title: Enable compilation of Unity messaging menu integration To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pidgin/+bug/1362368/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
