[Bug 1479267] Re: Brother MFC-L8650CDW cuts top of the page
Hi. Those versions of the package doesn't seem to exist on server. I can't download either binary or source packages of them using apt-get. I tried to fetch source packages with bzr but I can't seem to get those versions. I can get 9.10~dfsg-0ubuntu10 with bzr branch ubuntu:trusty/ghostscript but how can I get versions 9.10~dfsg- 0ubuntu10.1 and 9.10~dfsg-0ubuntu10.2? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1479267 Title: Brother MFC-L8650CDW cuts top of the page To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ghostscript/+bug/1479267/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1479267] Re: Brother MFC-L8650CDW cuts top of the page
Figured out how to fetch them. bzr branch lp:ubuntu/trusty- proposed/ghostscript But I'm not able to reproduce this anymore. I don't know why but 9.10 ~dfsg-0ubuntu10.3 (built from source package) and 9.10~dfsg-0ubuntu10.4 (from security) work both just fine. I guess this bug is invalid now.

I tried downgrading some of the packages upgraded recently. I downgraded ghostsciprt, ghostscript-x and libgs9 but that didn't help. I tried to downgrade libcupsfilters{,-dev}, cups-filters but I couldn't because an old cups-filters-core-drivers was not available! Therefore I don't know if cups-filters was the problem. Is there anything that I could try? We ***must*** have this printer working. At the moment we can't really print ***anything*** because ***everything*** is shifted by 3 cm on the page and the top of the page is not printed. It is very annoying when something is broken by an upgrade. ** Attachment added: /var/log/apt/history.log https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/1479267/+attachment/4436109/+files/history.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1479267 Title: Brother MFC-L8650CDW cuts top of the page To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/1479267/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1479267] [NEW] Brother MFC-L8650CDW cuts top of the page
Public bug reported: I've installed Brother's drivers from http://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadlist.aspx?c=gblang=enprod=mfcl8650cdw_eu_cnos=128 They've worked fine until now. For some reason even if I try to print test page (the page with Ubuntu logos) the top of the page is not printed. It looks like it's printed outside of the page as if the page contents are shifted up. Printer's self test page prints just fine. We really need this printer to do our work. I don't know if cups is the right package for this bug but feel free to correct it. What I've tried already: Reinstalling the Brother drivers (the same version as newer wasn't available). After that reinstalling the printer on printer settings. [Bug 1020769] Re: Standard user can't change own empty password
This bug is still affecting Ubuntu Precise (only version I've tested). [Bug 790615] Re: Ordi - Kernel Panic: BUG: Scheduling while atomic
I've run Linux 2.6.39.1 for a week now and I haven't experienced a single panic so it seems that the problem is fixed in 2.6.39 or it's due to some patch in Natty's kernel. [Bug 790615] [NEW] Ordi - Kernel Panic: BUG: Scheduling while atomic
Public bug reported: I get a kernel panic at least once a week with new Ordi Enduro 4565T and Ubuntu 11.04. With 10.04 this didn't happen. We have several laptops like this and all tested ones panic with same message when they are running latest Ubuntu (natty, 11.04). This laptop seems to be the same as Clevo's W765TH. I've included image from screen when kernel panic occures. Although this one doesn't have exacly same messages as the latest panics show (for example BUG: Scheduling while atomic isn't there). Those images might be on N8, so I'll post them later.
