[Bug 1579291] [NEW] mouse disappears after sleep/login

2016-05-06 Thread Tommy Swickard
Public bug reported:

Description: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Release: 16.04

Not sure if this has been reported yet but after I start my laptop from either
locking it (ctr-alt-del) or when I close my lid for my laptop to sleep my mouse
disappears.

I have a two short term fixes either:

sudo service lightdm restart <-- but this kills all processes when
executed

ctrl-alt-f1 then ctrl-alt-f7 to restart the GUI.

If it matters, I also dual-boot Windows 10 on UEFI firmware

** Affects: apache2 (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
