[Bug 550101] [NEW] Export of keys and keyrings is not available

2010-03-28 Thread Tranzistors
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: seahorse

When I try to export key or keyring, the menu is grayed out. Thus I
cannot make backups of my keys.

That would be only a inconvenience, if I could just backup keys by
copying seahorse configuration directory. I guess I can do that, if only
I knew, where it actually is. It is certainly NOT .gnupg, because when I
delete it (in recovery mode, as root), the keys are still there and
.gnupg folder is as good as new.

It would be very nice to do something about this. When I made a keyring
and put all my brand new passwords there, the seahorse somehow managed
to lose all keys in it.

[Bug 549464] [NEW] Not all translations appear in interface

2010-03-27 Thread Tranzistors
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Not everything, that is translated in upstream OpenOffice actually appears in
Ubuntu. For example:
Note: this is tested in Latvian and Russian interface, so I believe it is
general issue.

* Applications - Office - OpenOffice.org Word processor
The OpenOffice.org Word processor is translated in upstream, but not in
Ubuntu. The alternate text is missing as well.

* Dialogue Find Replace is not translated at all.

* In spreadsheets, the dialogue Move/Copy Sheet

[Bug 201810] [NEW] Openoffice freezes system on xen kernel

2008-03-13 Thread Tranzistors
Public bug reported:

Description: When running xen kernel, opening OpenOffice writer and
accessing menus freezes hardy alpha 6 on acer Extensa 5620. Other
applications seems to work ok.

Blame: openoffice.org-writer 1:2.4.0~rc2ubuntu3; ubuntu-xen-server
0.0.1-2ubuntu8 (I know this is not a real package, but I am not sure
which underling to blame)

uname -r: 2.6.24-12-xen

Note about dmesg attachment: xen kernel gives warning about /lib/tls
with solution how to avoid it. I used the proposed solution and this
doesn't seem to affect OO.o, nor does it remove the warning in dmesg
(though it doesn't show on startup).

Is there some diagnostics I could run to make problem report more
useful?

Btw. is there any way how to run OOo in debug mode? There were no dbg
