[Bug 377745] Re: ralink rt2870 usb wlan driver doesn't support 802.11n
Is the fix of adding the RT2870.dat file to the /etc/Wireless/RT2870STA/ directory used in conjunction with the shipped driver, or are there other steps required? Just installed 9.10 64-bit from scratch and the same is happening with the nvidia-graphics-drivers-185 driver. ie: 1. Mount a filesystem by going places somefilesystem 2. Re: [Bug 349011] Re: DeVeDe bitrate calculation for DVD iso is incorrect
Hey David I was wondering, where can I get the Karmic version? I'm happy to run some tests myself, but am not familiar with using dev repositories, etc... Greg 2009/8/8 David pho...@gmail.com It *seems* to be adjusting the bitrate in the Karmic version properly, but due to other issues I have yet to confirm it by doing a full encode. -- DeVeDe bitrate calculation for DVD iso is incorrect https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/349011 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. Open DeVeDe 2. Select Video DVD, click ok 3. Add Files / Titles at maximum video and audio rates 4. Click adjust disk usage 5. Click forward and create the image I suspect that the mechanism which works out the size of the resulting image is broken, as it is also possible to add titles and files way in excess of the size reported in DeVeDe, and the actual iso file created is still smaller than 4.7GB. [Bug 348596] Re: New files are always placed on the left-most screen
Hi Bryce Please find attached all the requested files. FYI I updated to the new 1.80 nvidia driver and did the following, still with the same results: 1. Deleted /etc/X11/xorg.conf 2. Restarted GDM to create a new xorg.conf 3. Ran sudo nvidia-xconfig 4. Restarted GDM 5. Set up twinview with the second monitor on the left side and set the right monitor as primary display 6. Created a new file on the desktop, it was placed on the left screen. Left monitor is a Dell 1907FP, 1280x1024 native resolution Right monitor is a Dell E228WFP, 1680x1050 native resolution I have the 1907 on the left, and the 228 on the right. The 228 on the right is my primary screen, with the main gnome panel, desktop icons, etc. When adding a new item to the desktop - such as downloading a file - the item is always displayed on the left screen. I have tried: Switching the monitors on the dvi ports on the video card Using nvidia-settings to switch the primary display with the checkbox Using nvidia-settings to change the positions of the monitors, such as absolute, right of, left of, etc I have set up various desktop icons, such as trash, etc, using the nautilus settings in Configuration Editor, and these seem to stay on the right-hand screen. It's when new files are created, such as downloads, or even touching a new file, that the icon for that file is placed on the top-left of the left-hand screen. I don't see an option anywhere to set this, so am assuming it's a bug with the nvidia TwinView mechanism. To summarise: Expected: New files are placed on the desktop marked as primary in nvidia-settings Actual result: New files are always placed on the left-hand desktop Please don't hesitate to let me know if you need any more info Uri ** Affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers-177 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- New files are always placed on the left-most screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/348596 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
