[Bug 1619481] Re: package libnl-3-200 (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: pokus o prepísanie zdieľaného súboru „/etc/libnl-3/classid“, ktorý sa líši od iných inštancií balíka libnl-3-200:i386

2016-09-26 Thread Varun Garg
I had same issue, when I removed ubuntu gnome desktop using tasksel. I
solved this by moving these files to a backup location

sudo mv /etc/libnl-3/classid /etc/libnl-3/classid.bak
sudo mv /etc/libnl-3/pktloc /etc/libnl-3/pktloc.bak

then
sudo apt-get -f install

and then restored these files
sudo mv /etc/libnl-3/classid.bak /etc/libnl-3/classid
sudo mv /etc/libnl-3/pktloc.bak /etc/libnl-3/pktloc

[Bug 1292282] Re: background transparency is not working on gnome terminal

2015-03-03 Thread Varun Garg
Bug not properly fixed

Running ubuntu gnome (15.04 up to date)
using numix gnome theme and enabled dark theme in prferences.

The transparency is not active.

However for the current terminal window it can be acticated, if I
1) profile preferences - colors - move from none to full back and forth
2) then profile preferences - general enable and disable custom font

[Bug 1357872] [NEW] screen flickering with blue shades

2014-08-17 Thread Varun Garg
Public bug reported:

my ubuntu gnome graphics were laggy, so I decided to upgrade my graphics
driver (intel 665GM) drivers. I added ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers and
upgraded my system, now my system is a bit smoother but I face blue
