[Bug 953252] [NEW] dfee516c

2012-03-12 Thread Veet Moha
Public bug reported:

Bug reporting window appeared after booting back to linux-kernel.3.2.0-18.29.
I was asked by Brad Figg (see Bug #942905 for more details) to try the latest
development kernel. I managed to install it but it never booted. The booting
process freezed after 34 seconds with IPv6 error.

[Bug 953252] Re: dfee516c

2012-03-12 Thread Veet Moha
Actually the computer could not boot the 3.3.0-030300rc6. Right now the
computer booted this kernel without problems.
Right now I am testing to see if I can confirm that the Bug #942905 can be
closed in case the latest kernel does not contain this bug.

Installed 11.10 Final without any dounloads checked (mp3 ore other updated

severat other packages when upgrade was finished like vlc, gparted, weather

lightdm will display the wallpaper associated to the user.
At restart lightdm displayed still the default background even though the the
wallpaper has been changed before the restarting (see above).
When login has finished I started Update Manager and checked for updates. This
error message appeared eve though apt-cache shows that the package is installed.

Re: [Bug 835265] Re: package fglrx 2:8.881-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: cannot create /etc/ati/fglrx-uninstall.log: Directory nonexistent

2011-11-11 Thread Veet Moha
Hey Bryce,

no this issue does not come up anymore, therefore I would say it has
been fixed. It is also true that I did a complete uninstall of the
driver followed by a clean reinstall, and I believe that this is how
the issue has been resolved, therefore I think this bug can be closed.

Thank you!

 Hey veet-moha,

Hi, thanks for reporting this issue during the development period of
 Ubuntu.

I notice there's not been further comments to the bug report since the
release came out, would you mind updating us on the status of it in the
 release?

Are you still able to reproduce the issue? If not, do you think the bug
report can be closed, or do you think we should continue tracking it?

[Bug 828759] Re: package ubuntu-desktop 1.240 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

2011-08-24 Thread Veet Moha
After the Partial Upgrade I did on the 24th of August (few minutes ago)
the upgrade finished without any errors and Unity 3D is working. I got
messages of programs closing unexpectedly: metacity, 2x gnome-settings-
daemon and the GSettings Data Conversion. I will report these bugs in
the meantime.
