[Bug 1629610] Re: package mono-gac 4.2.1.102+dfsg2-7ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 139
The mono packages have been causing a lot of problems during and after the upgrade. When I tried to remove them, apt was complaining about missing files under /usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/ that it tried to delete. I had to run the following command: touch \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.10.atk-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.10.gdk-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.10.glade-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.10.glib-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.10.gtk-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.10.gtk-dotnet.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.4.atk-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.4.glade-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.4.glib-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.4.gtk-dotnet.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.4.gtk-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.4.pango-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.atk-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.gdk-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.glade-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.glib-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.gtk-dotnet.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.gtk-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.nunit-console-runner.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.nunit.core.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.nunit.core.interfaces.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.nunit.framework.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.nunit.mocks.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.nunit.util.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.6.pango-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.8.atk-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.8.gtk-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.8.gtk-dotnet.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.8.gdk-dotnet.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.8.gdk-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.8.glade-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.8.glib-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.8.gtk-dotnet.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.8.gtk-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.8.pango-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.10.pango-sharp.installcligac' \ '/usr/share/cli-common/packages.d/policy.2.4.gdk-sharp.installcligac' \ && apt --yes remove mono-runtime -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1629610 Title: package mono-gac 4.2.1.102+dfsg2-7ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 139 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mono/+bug/1629610/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1424379] [NEW] Access forbidden to Kubuntu forums
Public bug reported: When I try to access the website kubuntuforums.net, I am greeted with the following nasty message: - 403 FORBIDDEN! Either the address you are accessing this site from has been banned for previous malicious behavior or the action you attempted is considered to be hostile to the proper functioning of this system. The detected reason(s) you were blocked are: Bothost and/or Server Farm. Not an access provider ISP (credit: eclecticdjs.com) (HN-0034). Your IP, Domain Name (if resolvable), the referring page (if any), QUERY, POST, User Agent, time of access, and date have been logged and flagged for admin review. Please either 1. Stop the bad behavior, or 2. Cease accessing this system. The webmaster of this site has decided to provide you with an e-mail link to start a trouble ticket about this block. Please do not change the beginning of the subject line, nor the preamble of the body text. - This is my home PC. I have had this IP address for many years. I am a FOSS developer: https://github.com/CyberShadow I have asked to be unblocked three times via the included email, no reply. The last one I've sent just now, but seeing as I got no reply for the past two, I do not expect one now. There are a number of issues here: 1. I am wrongfully blocked from accessing the website. 2. The message is unnecessarily aggressive and intimidatory. I am certainly not engaging in "bad behavior", and I think it's unreasonable that I "cease accessing this system" because of an error. 3. Unblock requests apparently go to /dev/null. 4. The "credit" URL is now dead, and leads to a domain squatter spam page. As I can't access the forum, I cannot bring up the issue there. The Ubuntu bug database is the closest avenue I could find to report this problem, after the forum and the supplied email link. My three unblock requests have the message IDs: <818516955.20130426233...@gmail.com> <1684576594.20140616061...@gmail.com> (this one is for another IP on the same ISP) <8710499474.20150222134...@gmail.com> ** Affects: kde-workspace (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1424379 Title: Access forbidden to Kubuntu forums To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kde-workspace/+bug/1424379/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 378307] Re: local_scan modification and new package
Hi Andres, You wrote: > the software is old and no longer maintained Not sure which software are you referring to. If you mean py-exim-localscan, is still being maintained, as you can see from its GitHub repository here: https://github.com/barryp/py-exim-localscan If you mean exim4, it is also still being maintained, as you can see from e.g. the Ubuntu changelog: http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/main/e/exim4/exim4_4.84-4ubuntu1/changelog I would also like to have py-exim-localscan as an Ubuntu package. [Bug 1069543] Re: ntpd crashes when network interface goes down
@dmlinux: I ran into the same problem today (also with OVH's kernel). The problematic bit of code is at line 1098 in ntpd/ntp_io.c (for ntp-4.2.6.p3+dfsg) - wrapping the UNLINK_SLIST statement into an if(*pmclisthead) block seems to fix the problem. However, I also found that the latest ntp version (ntp-dev-4.2.7p345) doesn't seem to have this problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1069543 Title: ntpd crashes when network interface goes down To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ntp/+bug/1069543/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 930540] [NEW] Mismatching module name in .conf for libapache2-mod-rpaf 0.6-2
