[Bug 48072] Re: AmaroK doesn't work after a fresh Kubuntu 6.06 install
It hapens because the xorg.conf file know has some new InputDevice lines, for tablets pc's. Just comment out this lines and it will work. Perhaps this automatics entrances aren't so nice... The problem is that you're not running on a tablet pc, so this device just dont exist for you. Follow the lines I commented out, and now amarok works, with some problems related to bug 34052 ... [Bug 34052] Re: Amarok xine backend sometimes doesn't work, also freezes
I have this same behaviour here. Sowngrade to amarok 1.3.9without success. Does anybody knows how to make a decent back trace ? when I start the appin Konsole it says to dont run gdb agianst it. When I was using Breezy, it works like a charm, even with amarok 1.4. Know, amaork just freezes, and Kaffeine freezes also, I think its coorelated, singe the engine is xine. I really like kubuntu, and want to help to solve this issue.
