[Bug 1789343] Re: mysqldump in MySQL 5.7 running on Ubuntu 18.04 does not release memory
I have the same problem but the Ubuntu version is 16 and MySQL 5.7 When I create the daily MySQL backup by mysqldump command the allocated memory by MySQL changed from 15% to 89% and not released. It causes many problem on the server. We have about 10 databases which has about 140 tables with many data. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1789343 Title: mysqldump in MySQL 5.7 running on Ubuntu 18.04 does not release memory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.7/+bug/1789343/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1063354] Re: Sudden Read-Only Filesystems
This bug has occurred to me for the first time hours ago: Mint 13 KDE x86 vmware virtual machine - the virtual hard drives stored in VMDK files residing on a normal (non-ssd) hard disk. I was copying 3 folders and Dolphin asked me if I want to merge the folders with the existing one. Then it asked me to replace or leave an existing file. I chose to rename the new one. Then, suddenly, I started seeing boxes telling me that file X could not be moved. Options were 'Auto skip', 'skip' and 'cancel'. I started skipping one by one before I investigated the reason; read-only file system!!! DATA LOSS OCCURRED as I lost files in (at least) one existing folder (destination partition). This is a dangerous bug as it involves data loss. [Bug 1032490] Re: do-release-upgrade through command line fails
It also failed through the GUI. After further digging around forums /var/log/dist-upgrade/apt.log (which funny enough I just realized is attached) I figured out that OpenCV was breaking thing. After an uninstall of that everything went smoothly. You know, having the GUI doing a simple grep for Broken in apt.log would have been extremely helpful. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1032490 Title: do-release-upgrade through command line fails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/1032490/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
