Thanks for fixing it. Currently I'm not using Gnome Subtitles, but i'm glad
to know that it's getting better.

[Bug 1724639] Re: Bug in Kernel 4.13 : Intel Mobile Graphics 945 shows 80 % black screen

2017-10-25 Thread Yinon-David-Zadok
Can confirm! I have two laptops with Atom n270, both are affected.

My post at AskUbuntu: https://askubuntu.com/questions/969014/part-of-
the-screen-desktop-is-black-pic-inside-happens-with-17-10s-on-atom

A copy from my post:

"The mouse is visible on the black part, and i can drag windows from
there. Print screen produces a normal pic with all the desktop as it
should look like.

I have this problem with 2 atom n270 laptops, With the first one I could
"fix" it temproary by connecting an external screen, then switching to
CLI (Ctrl+Alt+F1) and back to the gui (Ctrl+Alt+F7). It might be a
temporary fix for the second laptop too, just didn't check it.

It happens only in 17.10 versions (Ubuntu, Ubuntu mate, Lubuntu).
Previous versions of Ubuntu are fine. Also Windows and Manjaro are fine.

Pic of second laptop having this: https://imgur.com/b6iTmFi

Possible tags: screen, screen black, monitor, laptop, monitor and
laptop, monitor display, 17.10, atom, atom n270, n270, intel atom,

I had problems with LIbreofiice too, but only with "Writer", which
refuses to open. Calc is working fine.

[Bug 1537334] Re: Lxde panel menu icon overlapped by shourtcuts on RTL langauge interface

2016-01-28 Thread Yinon-David-Zadok
Im having this problem too, im using Hebrew language and after this
setting starts the panel is maybe at the right side of the screen, but
there's a total mess:

 - Half of the start button is hidden by the launch bar.
 - A whole window's task is hidden behind it
 - The shutdown icon is covering half of the hour.

This is also makes clicking on the right item much harder.

[Bug 1063350] Re: curl corrupts floating point context

2014-10-19 Thread Yinon-David-Zadok
>But is it still reproducible on Ubuntu 14.10 with the latest PyCURL?

Im not an expert, I just saw that amd cpu(s) ARE related (I think).
But, do you ask if the fix is reproducible? or if the bug is reproducible?

Anyway I've never installed 14.10. You can try the solution in comment
#4

Command (fix) with sudo:
sudo apt-get install python-software-properties=0.82.7
