[Bug 1535048] Re: i915 driver seems to cause system crash at random
It's very similar and i do sometimes experience the flickering as a precursor to the complete crash, but mostly screen goes off and it just crashes. Actually it freezes the whole PC. Keyboard is unresponsive. I installed kdump, set soft, nmi etc. watches on but the PC does not detect the crash and does not boot the second kernel :( and i dont have a nmi button. All i can is power off and restart. Got ideas, how i can trigger the kernel dump? Also i did experience the same issue with 15.10. I will add libdrm as affected. ** Also affects: libdrm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed ** Changed in: libdrm (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1535048 Title: i915 driver seems to cause system crash at random To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdrm/+bug/1535048/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 975636] Re: Trouble setting library location to Pictures/Photos
I can confirm the same problem. After I changed the import directory/library location in preferences, Shotwell somehow changed it back to ~/Pictures some other time I opened it again. However, this is a rather random behaviour since I can't always reproduce the issue even after I've done some editing, merging event directories or deleting photos in Shotwell. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/975636 Title: Trouble setting library location to Pictures/Photos To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shotwell/+bug/975636/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1001163] Re: System Settings not working in user menu
Found a workaround in Archlinux forum: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=140331 User Almehdin's method (post #3) works perfectly here. But it's still a temporary solution until the official bugfix update arrives. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1001163 Title: System Settings not working in user menu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1001163/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 706980] Re: Cannot add a separator into a menu
It's already four months since the release and the bug still exists. [Bug 236778] Re: gnome appearance properties causes CPU spike hardy-proposed
The bug still exists. I'm using UbuntuStudio 8.04, updated with recent kernel (2.6.24-18-rt). Already tried installing the 2.22.2-0ubuntu3 version of the gnome-desktop-data package from -proposed. Conky reading shows that CPU still stays at 100% and I'm still unable to choose the wallpaper with mouseclick. -- gnome appearance properties causes CPU spike hardy-proposed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/236778 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
