My dash got the same problem. My workaround is to right click the search bar and choose "None". (Default is Sytem(XIM) in my situation). I have had no crashes since I switched to using the Lucid mainline kernel (starting with RC6 and now running the final version). Before I did this my Karmic installation was too unstable to use at all. I also have a Vista partition on this drive, and my hardware is Core2Duo with Intel integrated graphics. My partner and I take turns playing (same level, etc.), and sometimes when she finishes it enters my name in the high score box and won't let her change it (my name is the user name). I Have tested the driver from linuxprinting.org and from the foomatic package! I get the error : ".foomatic-rip and a path before it! I think I must install a package but I don't know what for a one.
