Not sure if it is because I am using the Quantal branch of the PPA.
Surely the theme's will transfer or has there been a huge shake-up of
LXDE since Quantal which would cause this. I have also sent this to the
Ravefinity guys so that they are aware, but all other applications
follow the theme ok.

Additional, transmission-qt draws menus as expected but the system tray
icon does not follow the same Gnome icon theme.

[Bug 1159128] [NEW] Users can set blank passwords

2013-03-23 Thread actionparsnip
Public bug reported:

The installer allows users to set blank passwords. This creates issues
when they cannot authenticate for things later. Can you please add a
minimum password length of 3 to the installer to stop this nonsense. I
am continually seeing new users do this and they have to use root
recovery console to dig them out if the stupid hole the installer should
have protected them from.

[Bug 1071447] Re: [bug] grep -r [ with / without piping ]

2012-10-26 Thread actionparsnip
What about:

grep tejasbarot tejasbarot.txt

Waste of a cat with:

cat tejasbarot.txt | grep -r tejasbarot

it's simply not needed. Also, as you are searching a file, the -r does
nothing, so can also be omitted.

If you run:

grep -r con *

It will output files, however. Without the asterick, the terminal hangs
here too.

The copied data makes it work is my point. The default config generated
when the ~/.config/vlc folder is missing causes the issue, so the

[Bug 1004394] Re: Libreoffice menus unreadable

Just reinstalled lo-menubar and now the menu is in the global menu and
is now readable. Suggest increasing version number to force reinstall of
package to fix menus.
