[Bug 441330] Re: [ASUSTeK Computer Inc. F5RL] suspend/resume failure
This problem still exists on Lucid 10.04 with latest updates. I tried disabling modeset, but this did not help. When I stop gdm and execute /etc/acpi/sleep.sh the laptop suspends, but hangs after wakeup. Hibernate does not seem to work either (hangs when X shows after wakeup). ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Expired = New -- [ASUSTeK Computer Inc. I confirm this on Karmic, Dell XPS M1330. It was constantly happening to me on Jaunty too up until the latest updates (I did not report the bug then because I was running kernel from mainline-ppa). Thanks for fixing the issue. With the latest update in proposed the killswitch on my system (Dell XPS M1330, Jaunty amd64) works fine, no errors reported and the wireless is deactivated and activated automatically when switching killswitch off and on. [Bug 138465] Re: CPU frequency gets stuck at the lowest frequency after resume from suspend (ThinkPad T60p)
I can confirm this bug on Dell XPS M1330 using Jaunty upgraded from Intrepid (which was working perfectly). [Bug 262594] Re: [intrepid][regression] Fujitsu Siemens Amilo 1650G fails to suspend
I also have the same issue on MSI L715 laptop under Intrepid. I had no luck getting hash match in dmesg even after uploading all removable modules. When I press power button after suspend I can hear CPU fan and HDD noise, but the screen remains black and the laptop cannot be accessed through the network (both wired and wireless). If I leave the system in this state for 15 or more seconds I can hear the CPU fan speed is increasing to its maximal value. If I press power button for 5 seconds the laptop turns off and after I turn it back on the system boots up normally (however, I have experienced occasional black screen gradually changing to gray on boot with earlier fglrx drivers under Gutsy and Hardy). Under Hardy the suspend worked fine for me after a couple of changes to the process: I added scripts to unload wireless card (rt2500) and alsa drivers before suspend and load them back on wakeup. ** Attachment added: lscpi -vvnn http://launchpadlibrarian.net/19740597/l715x-lspci.txt -- [intrepid][regression] Fujitsu Siemens Amilo 1650G fails to suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/262594 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
