[Bug 993187] Re: ubuntu 12.04 completely freezes frequently.

2013-01-07 Thread audunpoi
Hi Rabit. For me it's the same with Kubuntu or Mint. It does not seem to
matter. I didn't try any other distros, though this problem certainly
motivates me.

[Bug 993187] Re: ubuntu 12.04 completely freezes frequently.

2012-12-27 Thread audunpoi
My version of this bug:
complete freeze: no tty, no ssh.
happens almost exclusively when screensaver starts or similar power-management
related stuff. (turning everything related to power-management off did not help
though.) Happens only with my EVGA GeForce GTX 560Ti graphics card. Tried
differnt kernels and many Nvidia drivers. None was stable. I'm using the
onboard graphics for now, and will try again later with new drivers and
kernels. I'm on 12.04 and have to stay til next LTS.

[Bug 990947] Re: Shotwell crashes after start

2012-09-27 Thread audunpoi
Sorry to see this have not been resolved. I have many hundred videos,
and all were tagged in shotwell. I gave up waiting and moved to digikam.
Sorry. Digikam is a bit too much though.

[Bug 198026] [NEW] cannot open messages from within search window

2008-03-03 Thread audunpoi
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Gutsy 7.10 amd64
Thunderbird 2.0.0.12

Cannot open messages that show up in the search-window. Double clicking
message or clicking "open" doesn't work. Nothing happens.
I can however open the same messages from the folder tree.
Sometimes thunderbird open up with nearly "blank" gui. After a restart the app
this is usually ok.
