[Bug 605336] [NEW] Report Broken Web Site option missing
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox I wanted to report a broken website to Firefox developers, but the option is missing for me in lucid / firefox 3.6.6. [Bug 583927] [NEW] libv4l needs 32-bit compatability libs when ia32-libs is installed on amd64
Public bug reported: configure: libv4l 32-bit development files not found. configure: Finished. Do 'make' to compile Wine. Wine needs libv4l, so I've installed libv4l-dev, just like any other dependency, but since it lacks 32-bit compatibility libs in ia32-libs, configure can't detect it. [Bug 425863] [NEW] libpng12-dev not providing 32-bit libraries (regression from Jaunty)
Public bug reported: I was on Jaunty, using libpng12-dev (among others) to compile wine. Yesterday, upgraded to karmic and found that wine is not detecting libpng as installed. [Bug 388052] Re: alien fails to convert deb to rpm
Contacted author to report bug upstream, he identified the problem quickly. There is a trailing space on the $version in the debian control file, which works for .deb, but chokes for rpm. My problem is fixed, but the bug is still there. Ideally, alien should strip off trailing spaces. -- alien fails to convert deb to rpm https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/388052 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 244571] [NEW] Gproftpd eats 100% CPU when launched, blank menu
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gproftpd I'm about to go on a vacation, and before leaving, was checking our ftp/fileserver for any problems and showing my coworker how to administrate some things. When testing gproftpd, I found that it's eating 100% of cpu, and never drawing it's screen. I'm not sure what's changed between now and when it last worked. The box is an old dual cpu pentium 3, running xubuntu feisty. Proftpd works fine, just can't do any GUI configuration. Firefox/etc., are not eating crazy amounts of cpu, so not sure what to investigate first. Any help is greatly appreciated. [Bug 191575] Re: wine segfaults on winecfg
Scott Richie asked me to comment here: This is in a feisty vm running on a Windows XP host. I build wine from git daily, in ~/wine-git/, but use WineHQ's repository to keep a copy of the current stable release for bug testing (easier than recompiling the stable each time I want to test it). My git copy runs fine, as did wine 0.9.54 from WineHQ. However, whenever I installed wine-0.9.55 from WineHQ, it's failing every time. Gcc version is gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 (Ubuntu 4.1.2-0ubuntu4).
