[Bug 717873] Re: NVIDIA X driver causes flickering

2011-03-27 Thread b2ag
I got this NVRM: Xid (0001:00): 6, PE0001 in dmesg for second time now
and i think it is related to faulty hardware. My laptop began to behave
odd short after service by manufactor. I also had some few freezes,
laptop not returning from suspend and hanging on entering suspend. These
are all randomly occurring problems which used to work pretty stable
before last service. Seems to be also pretty normal for this manufactor
to send people destroying my hardware when they should fix stuff by
replacing some parts.

I did some searching on this NVRAM: Xid ... and got 100% hardware related
issues:

[Bug 477149] Re: Failsafe X support added in proposed upload still doesn't work

2009-11-12 Thread b2ag
I have a problem and wonder if it has something in common with this bug.
I have had karmic-purposed sources on and after one of the last updates
Xorg keeps sending me to a failsafe-session instead of starting up
properly. I hardly understand whats the problem, because restarting kdm
results in X is coming up with the proper driver (not low graphics).

b2ag:~# grep xorg /var/cache/debconf/config.dat
zsh: exit 1 grep xorg /var/cache/debconf/config.dat

[Bug 424132] Re: [kubuntu] OOo KDE file dialog is utterly broken.

2009-10-07 Thread b2ag
After updating Jaunty to Karmic Beta the save dialog is crashing my
OpenOffice (Impress and Writer) continuously. After i used the open
dialog for the first time (after updating), the open dialog doesn't
crash my OO and seemed to had fixed the problem with the save dialog for
me. Nevertheless both dialogs where utterly broken and after a short
time the problem returned. Now both dialogs crashing OO.
