[Bug 149523] Problem with (ger) umlauts

2007-10-05 Thread balrok
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: centerim

The chars I tested are the following: äöüß
What doesn't work?:
When i write a message and press the ä/ö/ü/ß-key my cursor jumps two chars
forward instead of one

When i got a message with an äöüß this letter and the 2nd-next letter will be
erased
example:
nürnberg- nrberg

After i asked in #centerim (@freenode), they said me, that this is a problem
which the packager caused.
But now I see, that i don't have the log anymore..

I hope you'll fix it soon, cause i cant change to centerim until i can read
other messages without guessing :/
thank you =)

+ it would be better if you ask if the user wants to proceed or not..
(better:skip/skip all/abort)
