[Bug 147551] Re: cups-pdf fails to generate file when user does not print to default ~/PDF (apparmor vs.cups-pdf inconsistency)
Same issue for me using likewise-open to authenticate against Active Directory. The path to $HOME seems not to be used by apparmor for domain-users. -- cups-pdf fails to generate file when user does not print to default ~/PDF (apparmor vs.cups-pdf inconsistency) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/147551 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 192598] Re: username format during login
To make likewise-open use the default domain, you can add the following statement to /etc/samba/lwiauthd.conf: winbind use default domain = yes Then restart the likewise-open-service. [Bug 235315] Re: [Hardy] Laptop can't resume from suspend
Another (and maybe simpler) way is to create a file under /etc/pm/config.d/ and add the problematic module to it, e.g. sudo vi /etc/pm/config.d/acer SUSPEND_MODULES=psmouse Works on Acer Extensa 5520. -- [Hardy] Laptop can't resume from suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235315 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

At the moment our company authenticates users with samba/winbind/kerberos. They simply enter their usernames without any domain-part. [Bug 125139] Re: iftab - persistent rules transition can break existing setups
On upgrading from feisty to gutsy with a do-release-upgrade iftab was not correctly converted. [Bug 25106] Re: evolution-exchange: unable to setup exchange account
I have the same problems in dapper/edgy/feisty with the setup of an exchange-account in evolution. Access per OWA per https://owa-server/exchange/username ist still possible. My workaround is to directly call exchange-connector-setup-2.x, which creates the account. Hi, I can verify this behaviour. For example any newer Microsoft-DVDs are mounted as iso9660 but the filesystem should be udf.
