[Bug 392906] [NEW] lost all power management related features

2009-06-27 Thread christoph sturm
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

After updating all powermanagement related functions are gone. gpm is running,
but suspend/resume is no longer available from the logout menu, and Power
History shows only Processor
I think this is related to the latest devicekit-power upgrade.

when logging in a fresh user it also crashes within a minute.

didnt try with bluetooth disabled, because the mesa bug is already

both displays to generic 1920x1200 panel, and it only offers 1920x1440

2006-07-08 Thread christoph sturm
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: scummvm

after starting scummvm and switching to fullscreen with altenter its
no longer possible to move the mouse.

actually this doesnt happen all the time. If I switch back and forth
between windowed and fullscreen mode I can sometimes move the mouse.
(need to switch 10 times for it to work once)

(this happens with the latest edgy version) It also happens with the
0.9.0 deb from the scummvm site. and it also happens after i updated the
ubuntu source package to 0.9.0 with uupdate and installed that package

[Bug 52348] nautilus stops copying files if it encounters 2 files that differ only by case and the target filesystem is case insensitive

2006-07-08 Thread christoph sturm
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

this happens with the latest edgy version (2.15.2.0-ubuntu1).

to reproduce:
* create a new directory on a filesystem that is case sensitive (for example on
your desktop)
* create three files, one named hehe and another named HEHE and a third
named zzz_another file
* drag the folder to a fat32 partition, or to a ftp server window.

= if you look into the copied folder you will see that only the hehe
file is there.

(hehe)

i think in this case nautilus should display a warning dialog before it even
starts to copy the files, and offer the option to skip or rename files that
differ only by case
