I continue to have this problem. I did not check throttling, so it is trying to set this perimenter without user interface. When using command suggested, I get the error of no suh directory exist. In home directory, there is a Ubuntuone folder, but no config file to delete. Thank you. I attempted to edit with root permission activated, but ubunta would not accept the authentication for editing. (Odd when every other kind of function works with root permission). No, I have only used package manager and/or the add/remove command as well as the update tool. I have been trying to get dvd video to work and flash plugin. Everything else works - but when I need to use flash player to view videos Flash will not install and dvd video will not play - so have been seeking work arounds. There are information training videos for Ubuntu, Sun and other deveopment sources where I need to be able to view videos. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox Have Sun amd64 and when I try to use yahoo.com pages or aol.com pages requiring flash, plugin reported not installed and when attempting to install, it doesn't install/ Tried multiverse solutions as suggested elsewherre to no success, and installed all codecs as possible from all releases, still no success. Additionally cannot get dvd movies to work. I have feisty fawn 7 installed on a Sun Microsystem Hybrid of amd64, and cannot get flash plugin or the flash palyer to work at all. nor can I get it to play dvd movies. It works on previous versions of Ubuntu .
