[Bug 1318360] Re: Poor microphone quality (mako)

2016-07-21 Thread dahias
same here on my Nexus 4:

During a call logcat shows that "handset-mic" is in use:

"D/audio_hw_primary( 2380): select_devices: out_snd_device(1: handset)
in_snd_device(15: handset-mic)

I wonder if Mic-Quality gets better when "voice-dmic-ef" gets chosen after the
patch gets once applied.
(.. got sadly no idea how to do this by my own)

Some of the People im phoning with don't even understand a word cause of
the bad mic quality. For others it's not that bad but still not good
also...

[Bug 825768] Re: [Oneiric] Dash doesn't always auto-pick the best colour, add disable/pick colour option to CCSM?

2011-08-31 Thread dahias
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 837993 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/837993

Added an Screenshot to show that a very common Usecase (opend browser while
using dash) results in white text on white Dash.
Wallpaper was Ubuntus default one.

Maybe a Fix like in related Bug #837993 could help to improve this a
little. But for sure this won't be enough for visually handicapped
people. Thats why Options are very important to modify the dash-effect
to one's specific needs.

[Bug 825768] Re: [Oneiric] Dash doesn't always auto-pick the best colour, add disable/pick colour option to CCSM?

2011-08-31 Thread dahias
The readability of the Dash-text is horrible bad in general and really worst if
you use bright wallpapers. Just try around and you will see.
i very much liked the dash-style in 11.04. it's doesn't distract one's eyes
from using the dash like chameleon does.
nevertheless chameleon is nice, but it should be dyked more black to increase
readability.

But the point is:
It's completly illogical to include gtk-themes like High-Contrast to improve
accessibility for visually handicapped people, but don't give an option to
disable or modify the chameleon-feature.

[Bug 812866] Re: Wlan hardware blocked after suspend lenovo X121e

2011-08-27 Thread dahias
Hi All,

Finally resolved the Issue.

After i assumed a Bug to be in Package rfkill i was disabused by doing a
Bios-Firmware Upgrade on the Lenovo x121e (3045-6RG).
Problems are gone, now this wonderful piece of hardware runs perfectly well.

Upgraded Bios Version from Version 1.07 to 1.09

A ISO File for the bootable Firmwaretool can be found at:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_SE/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS019251
( Click on the link BIOS Bootable CD, Download, Burn Iso, Make sure Battery
is full and Power is connected, Boot from Disk, Follow Instructions, Be happy :)

bad but helpful workaround for this would be to set pass-number from 1 to 0
in /etc/fstab - the filesystem will not be checked at all after this change.
-
UUID=(blabla2) / btrfs defaults 0 0

... you were right. thanks for the hint - is the xgl server wich causes the

now direct rendering works fine. of course there are no desktop effects
