So in a nut shell you can't have a DHCP server on karmic that mounts NFS filesystems at startup. This is biting me on three boxes. I also have same issue with onboard intel vga : 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02) I worked around it by booting a intrepid kernel : dam...@anfield:~$ uname -a Linux anfield 2.6.27-9-generic #1 SMP Thu Nov 20 21:57:00 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux I do see the odd artifact on screen though. No X11/xorg.conf file configured. Using intel driver with EXA.
