Re: [Bug 774496] Re: BCM43224 wireless causes Ubuntu Natty to freeze
I left mine on a number of days without freezing. I am using rc5. I've found 2.6.39 rc5 to be quite stable. Wireless is full speed 5ghz and stable. I don't use 2.4Ghz though. [Bug 774496] Re: BCM43224 wireless causes Ubuntu Natty to freeze
This affects my HP Envy 14 as well. 03:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM43224 802.11a/b/g/n (rev 01) ENVY-14-Notebook-PC 2.6.38-9-generic #43pre201104300903-Ubuntu SMP Sun May 1 06:41:53 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Either can not connect to wireless, or hard locks random times. kernel 2.6.39 however was quite stable. I'd use it however ATI drivers are not compatible, hence I'm stuck with 2.6.38 if I want my ATI video to work properly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/774496 Title: BCM43224 wireless causes Ubuntu Natty to freeze -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
