[Bug 599025] [NEW] g++ 4.1 crashes on compilation

2010-06-27 Thread ewi
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gcc-4.1

Description:Ubuntu 9.10
Release:9.10

g++-4.1:
  Installiert: 4.1.2-27ubuntu1
  Kandidat: 4.1.2-27ubuntu1
  Versions-Tabelle:
 *** 4.1.2-27ubuntu1 0
500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/universe Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

expected:
compilation without crash :-)

actual:
crash probably due to one or all options of:
  -pg -fprofile-arcs -ftest-coverage

After switching to g++-4.2 instead of g++-4.1 and removing the previous
build everything seems to work fine.

[Bug 444881] Re: [Karmic] Battery monitor applet doesn't show battery remaining time

2009-11-15 Thread ewi
The same on my dell mini9 after updating from 9.04. My other laptop was
freshly installed at the same time and showed the correct remaining time
after some hours of learning.

The only difference as far as I can see: the dell always shows a
discharging rate of 0.0 (it also did with 9.04) So I assume some
calculation has changed in gpm after 9.04. I played a bit with the
settings via gconf-editor but without luck.

Ubuntu is an ancient African word that mean 'Humanity to other, etc...'
The default resolution 1600x1200 is not a HUMANITY!!
It can't run smoothly in 256 or lower RAM!!
