[Bug 65623] Re: C-Media 6501 onboard sound card don't work on edgy

2006-10-16 Thread fafner
Hi,

You can find the result for lsub -v here =
http://pcsecure.eu.org/usbtest.txt

It's true, this onboard soundcard work as a usb device with the dapper distrib.
I read in a suze forum that the same onboard souncard have a usb detection on a
suze distrib ... Very strange no ?

The problem is than it don't work at all on the Beta edgy 6.10 for the
moment...

Do you think it would be ok in the futur ?

Thanks a lot

Fafner

2006-10-14 Thread fafner
Hello Daniel,

I attach it to this mail.
I make it with an dapper 6.06 version. If it necessary to do this test with an
edgy one, say me that I will install it to give you the result.

Thank a lot for your work !

See you.

Fafner.

[Bug 64492] [17.330722] ACPI: getting cpuindex for acpiid 0x2

2006-10-07 Thread fafner
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: acpi

Hi,

When I start or boot my machine :

= I must wait for a long time with a black screen where I can read the
message [17.330722] ACPI: getting cpuindex for acpiid 0x2. After 1 or
2 minutes, ubuntu load and start and it work fine.

It seem to be an acpi problem but I don't know at all how to resol that. The
more strange is that in my bios, the acpi module is turned off.

Do you know, please, an issue ... Lol ...

** Affects: acpi (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided

[Bug 62608] Re: getting cpuindex for acpiid 0xnn delay on booting Edgy

2006-10-07 Thread fafner
Hello,

I have the same problem with an amd64 socket 939.
The motherboard is an asrock dual vista.

The message is [17.330722] ACPI: getting cpuindex for acpiid 0x2.

When I start boot with -acpi=off, the problem is still the same but the
error message doesn't appear.

Thanks for support.
