[Bug 761465] Re: Dash: Thunderbird/Email highlight box is mis-aligned with smaller icon
It's the solution of choice for the Launcher - try setting your Launcher icon size to 64 and it will happily scale Thunderbird up that level. Surely a touch of anti-aliasing could appease the nay sayers... It just seems like a better, more unified (pun intended) solution than having one tiny icon in the row. [Bug 751175] Re: Time and Date Settings don't load (Natty Beta 1)
After being logged in for a few hours today, I just checked the indicator-datetime-process with ps ax | grep indicator-datetime-preferences and got the following (showing that the process is not running) : 3287 pts/0S+ 0:00 grep --color=auto indicator-datetime-preferences then I clicked on indicator-datetime, Time Date Settings and no settings appeared so I repeat the process check and get: 3289 ?Sl 0:00 indicator-datetime-preferences 3292 pts/0S+ 0:00 grep --color=auto indicator-datetime-preferences Which shows that it is now running even though there is no GUI... So I do: kill 3289 and then click on indicator-datetime, Time Date Settings and this time the settings appear as expected and indeed continue to do so throughout the current session. OK, I just tried this scenario again and the settings window did NOT appear when I clicked Time Date. attaching backtrace for gnome-control-center. The app doesn't crash when I click Time Date it just goes busy but no settings window is launched so not sure if this causes a backtrace. Anyway, what I'm saying is the backtrace contains two runs: the first one I exited gnome- control-center with the close button (because it does not crash), the second I used ctrl+c in GDB after the mouse had stopped being busy... [Bug 726658] Re: appmenu menu items only appear on mouseover
I'm also affected by this. I'm running Alpha 3 (fully up to date) 2.6.38-7 on athlon i386 with an NVidia GeForce 6200 (nvidia-current 270.30-0ubuntu3) This bug appears with the Applications Menu and with the new Files Folders Menu. The resultant panel from clicking one of these menus is usually completely black but occasionally partially populated with icons. In either case, moving the mouse over the panel causes missing icons to appear. I'm happy to provide more assistance if necessary. ** Attachment added: shot of an example of this bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-appmenu/+bug/726658/+attachment/1945549/+files/Screenshot.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/726658 Title: appmenu menu items only appear on mouseover -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 88090] Re: [apport] evolution crashed with SIGSEGV in ect_check()
I just reported bug 674094 which has been marked as a duplicate of this bug which is now getting close to 4 years old. I appreciate that there is a workaround for people who don't need assistive technologies on their desktop but I'm amazed that this bug is taking so long to fix.
