For me, it only sometimes shows the setting system clock item... And sometimes halts immediately after the ipw3945 output. Probably a race condition of sorts This is exactly my experience. Same here with Asus A8JS 2.6.27-4-generic. I'm attaching dmesg output after a successful boot.
