Hello,

Workaround #39 work partially for me: connection is dropped after
certain random time, but I can establish it canceling the password
window, and opening wifi connection settings.

2014-07-04 Thread fsanchez
Hi Adam, all,

Sorry to botter but, which is the status of this bug? Has it been
solved? This is because I have to install Kubuntu 14.04 in a Lenovo
G50-70, but the liveUSB version doesn't even let me turn on wireless.

Regards,

Francisco

[Bug 750869] Re: vlc loading an internet radio stream

2011-07-05 Thread fsanchez
Can you retry with the latest version in natty (1.1.9-1ubuntu1.1) and
tell me if vlc still crashes for you?

Well, yes. Sorry for my late answer. And, it's not crashing, it just try
first to reproduce the URL and then, nothing happen.

Kubuntu Natty
VLC version 1.1.9-1ubuntu1.2

[Bug 750869] Re: vlc loading an internet radio stream

2011-06-22 Thread fsanchez
The specified URL leads to an HTML page, not a stream. Thus the bug
cannot be reproduced

I understand. Yes, I've realized I made a mistake with the URL, but I
think it shouldn't have crashed but told me that I'm making a mistake,
shouldn't it?

I suppose I should fill a report for VLC devs?

[Bug 747400] Re: aplet wrongly replace space from samba share uri

2011-05-11 Thread fsanchez
I have a very similar bug, though not sure if it's the same, because I'm
using KDE (Kubuntu Natty):

I can't configure a Samba printer with the printer applet because it has
spaces. But it doesn't replace spaces with %20, it just eats the
spaces. example:

SMB printer.
smb://addc0/HPLaserJetProfessionalP1606dn

when it should be
smb://addc0/HP LaserJet Professional P1606dn

So it doesn't find any printer. (I have already been able to configure
this printer in 2 machines with Kubuntu 10.04). As I said, there isn't
any %20

If the problem I'm describing is different and I should creat a new
report, please, just tell me.
