[Bug 1388269] [NEW] Totem volume controller covered in full screen mode

2014-10-31 Thread g0m3z
Public bug reported:

In Ubuntu 14.10 when switching Totem to full screen the bottom menu bar
seems to be sent to background and the movie covers the volume
controller. I recognized that when I switch to another application while
the movie is running in the background, user interface of Totem remains
in the front-end all the time.

[Bug 1388272] [NEW] Login screen shows different background picture such as set for desktop background

2014-10-31 Thread g0m3z
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 14.10 shows a different background for login screen such as set
for desktop background. In 14.04 it was working fine. I don't know
what's the original behavior of 14.10, it may have change since 14.04

Somehow launchpad classified it as a Totem issue, hence reclassifying.

** Package changed: totem (Ubuntu) = shadow (Ubuntu)

I'm facing the same issue on 14.04 LTS. After yesterday's update my
notebook is completely usless.

I experienced the same. After I upgraded from console everything works
fine. Most probably my previous upgrade was only a partial one.
