[Bug 951143] Re: [Asus eeepc 1225B] Suspend and hibernate not working
Mateus, You are correct, it is fglrx that is causing that problem. After I uninstalled fglrx, the computer could suspend/resume without a problem. [Bug 879858] Re: Kernel panic after grub-install on UEFI Asus 1215B
I had troubles like this with my 1225b (almost the same hardware), and the problem was that when I booted from the USB, I selected EFI:(device name) rather than just the USB. If you select the USB device sans the EFI prefix, it should work fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879858 Title: Kernel panic after grub-install on UEFI Asus 1215B To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/879858/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 951143] Re: [Asus eeepc 1225B] Suspend and hibernate not working
Addendum: As it turns out, it seems that Fn+F1 does not work for suspending the computer, it only seems to lock it, however, leaving the computer on until the system suspends does work after b3nn0's instructions, except that the screen is completely blank when the computer resumes from suspend, so I still consider it not working. Also, the option for Hibernate is greyed out (unselectable) in system power settings. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/951143 Title: [Asus eeepc 1225B] Suspend and hibernate not working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/951143/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 951143] Re: [Asus eeepc 1225B] Suspend and hibernate not working
I've had this problem ever since I installed 12.04, and I've tried b3nn0's solution, but to no avail. Both suspend and hibernate are not working and shutting down the machine always restarts it.
