I don't use 'Hide top bar' extension and chrome freezes and bluish on fullscreen on secondary monitor without panel. Confirm this, after upgrading to Ubuntu 13.10 and Gnome Shell 3.10 via gnome3-next do not work: terminal, screen locking, media buttons (volume), sleep button, touchpad enable/disable (via Fn keys).
