[Bug 1016181] Re: ath chip reset failed

2013-01-02 Thread gusse02
I am having the exact same problem with Atheros AR9485. Using Ubuntu
12.10. Now I have tried with kernel 3.6.3-030603-generic #201210211349
SMP Sun Oct 21 17:50:41 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux. This
did NOT solve the problem. The problem persists with kernel 3.6.3!

[Bug 861389] Re: after screen dims (idle / screensaver), cannot rebrighten it

2012-03-25 Thread gusse02
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 872652 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/872652

Is it really a duplicate? This bug is about dim/undim, the other bug is
about blanking screen so it goes all black. Am I wrong?

Anyway, my screen dims and do not undim as it should. Tried
logout/login, suspend resume. No luck. I'm on kernel 3.0.0-16-generic in
Ubuntu 11.10. The other bug should be fixed in kernel 3.0.0.15.

[Bug 490087] Re: mp3 is often not recognized in Karmic

2009-11-30 Thread gusse02
I can not confirm this bug. I downloaded your sample file and tried it on 3
different systems with exactly the same result:
$ cp Come.mp3 Come
$ file Come.mp3
Come.mp3: MPEG ADTS, layer III, v1, 112 kbps, 44.1 kHz, JntStereo
$ file Come
Come: MPEG ADTS, layer III, v1, 112 kbps, 44.1 kHz, JntStereo
$

This was done on:
- Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty
- Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic
- Debian 5 Lenny

[Bug 172698] Re: Switch User fails after updating with unsupported updates enabled

2007-11-29 Thread gusse02
Same for me! I usually update as soon as there is a new update.
Yesterday (28 nov, 2007) there were some 5 updates which I installed.
Right after that the problems with user switching began.

The error shows itself in two ways for me:
1) sometimes I just get a black screen after trying to switch user. In this
situation I have to power off.
2) sometimes I get to enter the password for the new user and here it hangs
forever. But I can get out of it by clicking left lower corner, cancel or
something.

I am also using Ubuntu 7.10 with all updates up to yesterday.
