[Bug 308666] Re: does not show my bookmarks in toolbar any more

2009-11-30 Thread Jim Hitch
This looks like what I'm getting too with 3.5.5.

I have my bookmark toolbar on the menubar to save space (fig1), but
often when I restart firefox it has disappeared again (fig2).

This has only happened since I moved to 3.5.x.

[Bug 203594] Re: xmonad does not have xinerama/twinview support - possibly a libgch6-x11 problem

2008-05-25 Thread hitch
so, given my complete and utter failure as an ubuntu power-user
what are the chances that this will be fixed in the near-term, allowing me to
not have to fight with this and lose repeatedly.

for someone who doesn't know much about haskell - how would you go about
building from source?

[Bug 203594] [NEW] xmonad does not have xinerama/twinview support - possibly a libgch6-x11 problem

2008-03-18 Thread hitch
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xmonad

I was using the xmonad package from
http://people.debian.org/~nomeata/xmonad/gutsy/, with behavior as
described in the man page (each monitor was a unique workspace) - upon
updating to hardy heron, I lost that functionality. All the digging
I've done online suggests that this indicates the the libghc6-x11
libraries were built without xinerama support.

** Affects: xmonad (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 76778] Re: error scanning

2007-01-31 Thread hitch
so.can we expect a fix to this bug or not?
there's a fix for the debian package, apparently - and I've had this issue on
my (supposedly) stable install for over a month now.
