Ubuntu 16.04.3, encrypted disk, 8GB RAM, 11GB swap file. Default swapiness and cache_presure. Yep, with Gnome Flashback the issue also exists, maybe with slightly less load on RAM. On 16.04 now have the same issues with RAM growing. It's hard to work with because of this issue.
