[Bug 196357] [NEW] firefox 3.0 Segmentation fault on startup
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0 After a dist upgrade to the latest Hardy release this morning Feb 27, 2007 8AM PST, I can't open Firefox 3.0 anymore. What information do I need to provide or is there any debugging procedure for Firefox 3.0? I checked https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures but firefox-dbg is not available from the repo. Running 'firefox' or 'firefox-3.0' from a terminal just returns right away. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ firefox-3.0 Segmentation fault (core dumped) [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ Thanks! ** Affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- firefox 3.0 Segmentation fault on startup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/196357 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 183521] Hardy Heron gnome terminal missing menu bar

[Bug 183521] Re: Hardy Heron gnome terminal missing menu bar
Thanks for the quick response Pedro,. Yes. I created a new user and the same problem persists. Attached is what it looks like. I also checked that compiz is turned off in Appearance settings. ** Attachment added: gnome terminal no menu bar http://launchpadlibrarian.net/11395277/Screenshot.png -- Hardy Heron gnome terminal missing menu bar https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/183521 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 183521] Re: Hardy Heron gnome terminal missing menu bar
Thanks Pedro. 'Show Menubar' worked. Do you know why the title bar is missing min, max, close buttons? And why I can't open a new tab using CTRL-SHIFT-TAB? Actually, I can't even Alt-TAB to another window? I would have filed another bug report but it could be something simple as my original problem. -- Hardy Heron gnome terminal missing menu bar https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/183521 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 134819] Re: suspend/hibernate failure (gutsy and fglrx)
I have the same exact problem. Like scarecrow and osteenbergen, I can suspend my T60 using vesa driver with no problem. Another way for me to suspend, is to switch to a VT, stop gdm, unload fglrx, blacklist fglrx, then run sudo pmi action sleep It's a lot of work but it works. Although I don't really benefit anything since I have to close my existing X session :( -- suspend/hibernate failure (gutsy and fglrx) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/134819 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
