[Bug 363695] Re: update-apt-xapian-index uses too much CPU
I have the same bug. I kill that process, but it appears again after some time. I haven't any Software Center or apt-get running, just Firefox, Kate, Transmission... This is Ubuntu Natty on a HP Compaq laptop wih a Core 2 Duo. Same bug here. It's taking 100% of one of the the cores (HP Compaq laptop, Core 2 Duo around 3 years old, basic Natty). It happens some time after I kill it, over and over...
