[Bug 71348] Re: Dom0 crashes upon start of second DomU
Probably because this is the multiverse (or was it universe) tree. A pity, yes. This problem forces me to abandon Ubuntu and use Debian. And once I've configured it - I'm not keen to switch my production environment back again. The more demanding user is being disappointed this way. What's better? Many fysical Ubuntu server or many of them being virtual? I know the answer :-) I think this should be given more priority. -- Dom0 crashes upon start of second DomU https://launchpad.net/bugs/71348 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 71348] Re: Dom0 crashes upon start of second DomU
Another one here... crash at start of 3rd DomU (kernel panic - no traces in dmesg or syslog however) Config: Compaq evo laptop 640Mb ram 800MHz cpu Kernel: Xen: 3.0.3 on Ubuntu Edgy (2.6.17-6-generic-xen0) I did a vanilla server install of Edgy then installed the binary tarball from Xensource. I also mentioned this issue at: http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2006-11/msg00203.html Every respondent used an AMD cpu - so not very helpful thusfar -- Dom0 crashes upon start of second DomU https://launchpad.net/bugs/71348 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
