[Bug 1741690] [NEW] You can't enable screen reader until after you click "Try Ubuntu" on Ubuntu bionic

2018-01-06 Thread jokinglove
Public bug reported:

When doing manual tests for Ubuntu Bionic. I am trying to enable
screenreader after initially booting up ubuntu to its "Try" & "Install"
Ubuntu options. When trying to enable screen reader (Alt+Super+S),
nothing happens. Alt+Super+S only works after you click "Try Ubuntu".

I am running Ubuntu Bionic amd64 on Virtualbox

[Bug 1740729] Re: No Network Install Instructions for Lubuntu Bionic Alt are completely out of order

2017-12-31 Thread jokinglove
** Description changed:

Hello, I am following the instructions for the "No Network in Lubuntu
  Alternate amd64 in Bionic Daily".

  See here:

http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/384/builds/163656/testcases/1689/results

Unfortunately, when even starting at step 1, there is no "Try Lubuntu"
  button

Step 3-12 is out of order, it first loads first to select language then
  keyboard type (step 13).

Steps 13-14 are before 3-12. It asks to setup account information before
  the partitioning options.

  Step 15 is non-existent.

I think these instructions are mixed up for the Bionic Desktop
instructions and not the alternative one?

[Bug 1740712] [NEW] Bionic Alternate Test-Case does not have Guided- resize partitioning option

2017-12-31 Thread jokinglove
Public bug reported:

Hello, I am following the "Alternate Install (Guided) in Lubuntu
Alternate amd64 in Bionic Daily" steps.

See:
http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/384/builds/163656/testcases/1438

On step 12 it states: "Select Guided - resize 'drive details' and use
freed space and press Enter"

However I see no such option "Guided- resize", I only see:

- Guided- use entire disk
- Guided- use entire disk and set up LVM
- Guided - use entire disk and set up encrypted LVM Manual
- Manual

Maybe the guide means to enter "Manual" first before?

I am running on a windows 10 64bit with the lubuntu bionic amd64 running
inside a VM using VirtualBox.
