By doing sudo laptop_mode start I can at least reduce the clicking frequency from previously 5 seconds, which was extremely annoying, to now may be once per minute or even less. This shows that it *can* be influenced. [Bug 61879] Re: gnome-panel-screenshot crash
Confirmed here, too. The error produced both when launched from the panel as well as from the command line, as gnome-screenshot. $ gnome-screenshot --version Gnome gnome-panel-screenshot 2.16.1 Note the gnome-panel-screenshot in the above version! gnome-panel- screenshot is actually a symlink to gnome-screenshot. Now a funny/strange thing happens: When I lauch the same program as gnome- panel-screenshot --despite its being just a symlink-- it WORKS! The screen shot is saved properly. [Bug 44093] Re: Problems with full-screen mode of Acrobat Reader, Xdvi, gnome-terminal
I can say that with Gnome 2.16.1, Acroread full-screen mode now works as well as feh -f, another program that previously didn't. Xdvi works in full-screen mode as well as OO Impress.
