HONKIR: I did try to download 32-bit version of Firefox (same ver as I have in 64-bit) and have copy libxul.so in /tmp directory and have change setting of acroread to this directory + restart. YES - it as I have thing. After more time waiting before login into WiFi network also other then translation files was downloaded wrong. Whole list of wrong files - all from 21.12.2013 - are in attachment (list.txt). But the reason for this Bug seems to be the same: apt get files with HTTP without check them in any kind - try to use them and fails - and stops working without manual assistance The solution can be maybe simple: - use https or - check type of content or - download not just the file but also file with e.g. hash to check integrity or - ... That would simply solve such situation like mine: redirected HTTP (e.g. in WiFi networks with some login process, ...). BTW - I do not know for what these files are, but: could not this issue be also security problem ? Public bug reported: Hello, the minidlna server is started at boot with /etc/init.d/minidlna script. But it always fails with error: minidlna.c:762: No IP address automatically detected! The reason is, that minidlna requires configured interface - with IP address set. But at start the computer has not yet IP address - it happens later. = minidlna can/must not by started by init.d script. I should (?) by started in /etc/network/if-up.d. I'm not sure why minidlna requires IP address to be set. Why it do not bind to INADDR_ANY as other deamons do and sends notify messages from all (in the moment actual or only configured subset of them) local IP addresses. I goggled out, that other people did find this problem too, so I thing - this is not question bud bug - maybe bug in code of minidlna itself or at least sure in config scripts. The problem may be more difficult. The high load - when switching between apps with Alt-Tab appears randomly. The amount of FF bookmarks in my case is high but do not changing much. Most time I have no problems while running FF and switching to another apps - windows with Alt-Tab. But sometimes happens, that high load (100% on both cores - for many seconds) occurs and stays until I kill FF and log out-in. If it would be caused by bookmarks - then it should happen all time - the same way. U12.04 64b AMD - NM clone MAC works for OPEN WIFi. Not for WPA2 connection. (WEP not tested). - It is necessary to change MAC in udev rule - then works NM WPA2 connection with this (not orig) MAC too. - But changing MAC with ifconfig down/hw ether/up after NM has seen another MAC (orig or udev set), the WPA connection fails connect. I fully agree with David. Twinkle is most powerful SIP client which support all SIP features. Great logs, NAPTR support, ... I have try almost any SIP client in Linux and Twinkle has no competition. It has only one disadvantage - id does not support call recording. That is the only one reason, why I must use SFLphone. U12.04 64b still there. To change MAC address - no need to go into NM scripts. I change it in udev.d. But it is no solution. I really do not like janitor. [Bug 1094131] [NEW] download manager shows unrealistic - wrong speeds

The manager shows e.g. +- 350 kB/s but in real it is about +-100kB/s
I have see it many times by file sharing servers - e.g. ulozto.cz.
The downloads there with dashed speed, but download manager count the average
speed out of reality. The reported speeds are shown unrealistic stable and +-
3x bigger then in reality.
I have compared it manually with
$ date;ifconfig eth0;sleep 60;ifconfig eth0;date
or with
$ sudo iptraf -d eth0
The wrong reported speeds and rest time is possible watch direct at
download manager - the megabytes are added +- 3x slower then the wrong
reported speed would transfer.

Public bug reported: I have changed from wall to cube + rotate plugin. When I change viewport then just before (at; after) end of animations blinks (for a fraction of a second) the previous viewport. I'm very sorry about my mistake to changing status to Invalid. I changing it back to Confirmed. It is although normal in Unity, but the sflphone-gnome package should operate with it and during installation run gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist ... to add 'sflphone-client-gnome'. I'm running newest U12.04. I do not understand MIME things but fact is, that in /etc/mailcap are no eog lines after update-mime. E.g. show 1.png runs not eog. So where is problem ? What do You mean with old standard ? What is new standard ? Public bug reported: All time testing new U 12.04 I have the same problem. After enabling the Auto-hide the Launcher I have problem to reach that Launcher appears again. I move the pointer lo left, but just the margin of screen gets darker - thats all. I have to repeat moving pointer right - left many times (sometimes 4x, sometimes 15x) before I get finally Launcher visible again. To let pointer at border longer don't help. I have Intel's G840 CPU with Sandy HD graphic (if it matters). I hope, it will be corrected before final release. BTW - in Unity 2D the same issue. And setting of sensitivity seems to have absolutely no effect.
