[Bug 355297] [NEW] [Hewlett-Packard HP Pavilion dv6500 Notebook PC suspend/resume failure when on battery [non-free: nvidia]
Public bug reported: Suspend/resume works appears to work perfectly on AC but not battery. On battery it suspends memory but fails to fully resume. All LEDs come back except the Wireless LED and the screen stays black. Doesn't look like there is any hard drive activiaty. Plugging the AC back in allows the Laptop to continue to resume. On battery it fails to hibernate to hard drive. The screen goes black but all the LEDs stay on. There doesn't appear to be any hard drive activity. Plugging the AC back in allows the system to continue its hibernation. Resuming from hibernation is similar. The usplash appears but the laptop never fully resumes until after the AC is plugged back in. When resuming from suspend on AC a message briefly does appear on the screen but it is too fast for me to read. I've completed the test script but it fails on the second test. ProblemType: KernelOops Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from resuming properly.
