[Bug 323749] [NEW] Multiple .htaccess authorization boxes makes further usage impossible.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0 When I try to access a webpage showing multiple img-tags with images from a directory that is .htaccess protected. My browser is flooded with authorization requests. This makes the browser impossible to interact with, and the only solution is to kill the process. In Firefox 2.x what happend was, that only one instance of the authorization box popped up. And if that was canceled, any other reference in that page, to a file that where protected by the same policy also were canceled. Reporting that the fix also applies for the ThinkPad X60 after upgrade to hardy. Trimmed the xorg.conf somewhat excessively, but guess none of that old crap was needed anymore.
