[Bug 1168424] Re: Kazam is not listing my microphone(s)
I just started using kazam on Ubuntu 16.04 and this bugs also shows up in my system (xps 15 9550) I have the standard internal microphone, and also connected an USB logitech H360 headset, which is correctly detected and shows up with lsusb. The headset (both microphone and speakers) are working correctly in the system and I can record with the headphone mic. However in the Kazam preferences window, only the internal devices are shown. As the initial poster experienced, kazam is simply not listing the audio device. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1168424 Title: Kazam is not listing my microphone(s) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kazam/+bug/1168424/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Same bug running Ubuntu 16.04 and inkscape 0.91 r13725. In my case this is due to a file that was in an autofs filesystem that cannot be mounted. [Bug 1566302] Re: Ubuntu 16.04: Suspend freezes the system after upgrade to linux image 4.4.0-16
Yes, the issue start happening after update to 4.4.0-16 on 5/04/2016 (morning update). The problem did not happened with 4.4.0-15. I tested uptream kernels 4.5 and 4.6 and I didn't have the freeze after suspend. Actually, yesterday night (5/04/2016) there was another ubuntu update (including kernel update to 4.4.0-17) and I can confirm that the bug seems to be fixed also for 4.4 I then booted again with the supposedly buggy kernel 4.4.0-16, and I couldn't replicate the bug, so my guess is that the bug reason was not actually in the kernel, but due to some other package. So: the bug seems to be fixed with the ubuntu distribution as of yesterday night (kernel 4.4.0-16 and whatever additional updated packages). Also fixed for 4.5 and 4.6. [Bug 1566302] [NEW] Ubuntu 16.04: Suspend freezes the system after upgrade to linux image 4.4.0-16
Public bug reported: I'm using ubuntu 16.04 on a XPS 15 9550. Suspend/resume worked flawlessly with linux image 4.4.0-15, and after standard upgrade yesterday (5/04/2016) which installed image 4.4.0-16, the system freezes when attempting a suspend. I get no response from the system (nor keyboard, nor screen, nor touchpad), but it gets very hot, so that it must be running something. Booting with 4.4.0-15 makes the suspend to work perfectly. [Bug 1066147] [NEW] No Unity, and Compiz isnt running correctly
Public bug reported: I know this is related to fglrx driver. My card is a 4500 HD Radeon. The resolution is incorrect. It is giving me 1280x1024 and i have a 1600x900 monitor. I am using using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with a dual core AMD and Nvidia Video card desktop:~$ /usr/games/sol Xlib: extension RANDR missing on display :0.0. The program 'sol' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 483 error_code 8 request_code 152 minor_code 5) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. [Bug 647770] Re: AisleRiot Solitaire crashes RANDR
[Bug 439163] Re: HVR-1300 HVR-3000 HVR-4000 broken in kernel
not sure if this is related or not but I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 with the 20100517 fix. The channel scan works fine for me, but for a particular multiplex whenever I try to watch any channel I get the L_S partial lock. The same channels work fine in Kaffeine; could somebody please suggest any steps to troubleshoot this? Is there any direct recording I can try on the command line to see if the problem is mythtv-related or something else? It looks like it's only mythtv as Kaffeine displays the channels without a problem. -- HVR-1300 HVR-3000 HVR-4000 broken in kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/439163 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 439163] Re: HVR-1300 HVR-3000 HVR-4000 broken in kernel
sorry, false alarm. Just in case this happens to anybody else, my issue was that some channels on a specific multiplex (perhaps the whole multiplex?) had moved to a different multiplex. Mythtv still had the old entries of channels in mysql even after clearing all channels and doing a full re-scan using mythtv-setup. After wiping all entries from the channel table and doing another channel scan, things are working again now. I kept thinking it was something related to mythtv tunning but it was just some confusion due to old channel entries in the database. -- HVR-1300 HVR-3000 HVR-4000 broken in kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/439163 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
