[Bug 173621] Re: SB0400 Audigy 2 Value issues with latest emu10k1
ah ha! This is because Ubuntu was selecting an internal sound device for some of the sounds (system sounds, etc) and then using my Audigy for other soundsdespite my manual selection in the Preferences > Sound control panel. SoI'll try to de-activate the internal sound completely by preventing the driver from loading or just switch my speakers over to the crappy internal sound. -- SB0400 Audigy 2 Value issues with latest emu10k1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173621 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 173621] SB0400 Audigy 2 Value issues with latest emu10k1
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: alsa-modules-2.4.26-1-386 Cannot get my sound card to fully function. It seems that the SB0400 Audigy 2 Value has a reputation for not working properly with recent versions of ALSA. I can actually listen to MP3's, but cannot get any system sounds to work, flash, or anything else. I have all necessary restricted drivers and patches. ** Affects: alsa-modules-i386 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- SB0400 Audigy 2 Value issues with latest emu10k1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173621 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
