[Bug 392477] Re: [needs-packaging] OpenCPN
Hello Brendan, there's still some issues with the licensing of a few files last time I checked. I also haven't heard from Anton (above) re: the status of the package. There's a thread here which may help you with your issue http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/f134/ubuntu-10-4-and- opencpn-40856.html. Otherwise post your problems over there. The build process has been changed to cmake, instructions here: http://opencpn.org/compiling_source_linux Have you tried the precompiled package on opencpn.org? -- [needs-packaging] OpenCPN https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/392477 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

As far as I understand this was all under wraps right up to the freeze - zero user consultation. What happened to consistency? Perhaps one should focus on getting the desktop experience nice and solid instead of changing the desktop search engine, messaging client, window buttons, photo manager, music manager, and background image every single time.
