[Bug 67806] Re: Firefox crash on gmail
Seems to be similar to or duplicate of #62988. Does it help if you * add export XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 to /usr/lib/firefox/firefox or * switch Composite off in xorg.conf or * switch screen depth from 16 bits to 24 bits? -- Firefox crash on gmail https://launchpad.net/bugs/67806 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 63570] Re: Firefox 2.0b2 crashes when using composite and 16 bit visuals
It seems that the bug occurs if you have both composite and 16 bit depth enabled in the xorg.conf. To fix this bug, you can hide composite visuals from Firefox by setting the environment variable read by xlib: export XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 ; firefox At least the fix works for me. -- Firefox 2.0b2 crashes when loading anything with Flash https://launchpad.net/bugs/63570 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 68337] Server crash on ACPI suspend/resume
Public bug reported: Xserver crashes when I suspend and resume an X41 laptop. The symptom look similar to #61746, but I gett different xorg.log. I checked that all is okay, when I switch off echo -n mem /sys/power/state from acpi sleep.sh script, so it is not acpi-support problem. It could have been kernel problem, but I get no trace of the problem in dmesg. Here is a fragment of a xorg.log file: AUDIT: Thu Oct 26 01:14:45 2006: 19293 X: client 30 rejected from local host Auth name: MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 ID: -1 (II) I810(0): Hotkey switch to 0x800. [Bug 68337] Re: Server crash on ACPI suspend/resume
The xorg.conf was automatically generated by package upgrade script, except for the description of monitors. The Monitor sections were generated from cat /proc/acpi/video/VID/{LCD0|CRT0}/EDID|parse-edid. ** Attachment added: X configuration file http://librarian.launchpad.net/4936816/xorg.conf -- Server crash on ACPI suspend/resume https://launchpad.net/bugs/68337 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
